When asked what our purpose was, our CEO quickly replied, “developing people.” Similar to how Disney asserts it’s in the business of making people happy, Transmar as well as all IACC Holdings’ subsidiary companies insist that we are in the business of developing people. This ultimately serves the bigger vision of being the employer of choice which is core to our DNA.
In line with our 10 Leadership Principles, Transmar recently just completed its first intake of the Leadership Lab, an in-house training incubator designed to transform middle managers into leaders. The participant took a deep dive in key skills such as emotional intelligence, compassionate leadership, coaching, negotiation, strategic communication as well as a tailored managers pack covering key functional areas of running successful companies.
The Leadership Lab hosted high profile guest speakers to share experiences with the participants, top executives and CEOs from successful companies as well as government officials were present. The first module on communication and emotional intelligence ended with a chat with Microsoft Egypt CEO Mr. Khaled Abdel Kader.
The participants who successfully graduated from the Leadership Lab were met with a graduation ceremony in May and received their certificates in front of their colleagues from all IACC Holdings and subsidiaries teams as well as their spouses who watched proudly.
